As the Year rolls on, we sincerely hope and pray for everlasting peace in our country to enable us to carry on with our work to accomplish and achieve our goals and objectives. Many children in Nepal are deprived of basic and primary education for various reasons: family and domestic conflicts, poverty, orphanages and general lack of awareness of basic health and educational needs. The ongoing turmoil in the country has further exacerbated the situation in Nepal adding further strain on the already struggling families. Nevertheless, we at EDUC-Nepal intend to carry on with our work with ever more determination and focus to surmount these challenges to continue on with our social work for the betterment of the deprived children.

In order to make our educational program more effective in the future, we have just established a ‘Divine Home’, a shelter to care for orphaned and homeless children. We believe that in this way, we will be able to fully support and guide them by finding sponsors to send them to private schools until they are able to complete their high school education.
