Dear Madam/Sir,
As a sponsor you can make a huge difference in a child's live. You are giving 'your' child the opportunity of a different future, a better future. At EDUC-NEPAL there are different possibilities to help a child. You can sponsor the education of a child but you can also be a 'foster parent' of a girl in our new Divine Home for Girls.
Our organisation EDUC-NEPAL has now proceeded into the fourth year of serving the underpriviliged children with free non-formal education of high quality and providing them with an excellent recreation center where they are welcome anytime to play different sorts of indoor games. The children are now both mentally an physically undergoing positive changes. With your help, we can help more children in the future and we can send them to a government or even a private school.
From this year we have started the Divine Home for Girls, a save shelter for orphans and truly disadvantaged children who are socially as well economically challenged or who are victims of maoist insurgery. EDUC-NEPAL decided to keep only girls in the shelter, because they are most vulnerable in the Nepalese society. During the implementation of our early Childhood Education and Alternative Schooling Program at the Children Welfare Centre we found that the best way to obtain optimum result in all round development of a child is by keeping the children in a shelter, where we can constantly look after them and guide them in a proper way. This is purely out of necessity that these children are better taken care of in the shelter. Parents and guardians are so poor that they don't have the time to look after their children as they have to work from morning till evening as for example domestic workers or construction workers. Due to this neclect the children are prone to go back to negative activities in the streets, like drugs, theft and especially girls are likely to end up in sexual harassment. The mission of the Divine Home for Girls is to see that all the girls complete high school. After that they can attend university or get skill training, so that they are able to stand on their own feet and be a true citizen of Nepal and are able to support and help others who are in need. We are looking for sponsors for the girls. As a sponsor you are giving 'your child’ an opportunity for a fresh start toward their live goals and dreams.
As a sponsor your are not only making a difference in the lives of the children, it's also rewarding for yourself.
